DAMASCUS, (ST)_ President Bashar Al-Assad received on Thursday a telephone call from his Iraqi counterpart Barham Salih.
The talks between the two presidents dealt with bilaterla relations and the coordination and cooperation between Syria and Iraq to eliminate terrorism that poses a threat to them.
The two presidents underscored the importance of this joint cooperation to consolidate the positive results that have been achieved on the ground in the field of fighting terrorist groups at Syrian-Iraqi border areas.
They in addition reviewed ways of enhancing and developing bilateral relations in all fields for the common interest of the two countries’ peoples.
