President Al-Assad receives a message of condolence and support from President of Tajikistan

President Bashar Al-Assad received a message of condolence and support from President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon delivered to him by Zabidullah Zabidov, the Special Envoy of the Tajik president, during a meeting on Saturday.

President Al-Assad said that the Tajik government and people’s support for Syria during the current ordeal will leave a good impression on the Syrian people, stressing the importance of enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels based on common interests.

For his part, Zabidov said that his visit aims at affirming his country’s support for Syria and its readiness to provide any kind of assistance to the Syrian people, reiterating that all countries and peoples of the world must support each others in such humanitarian disasters.

He expressed confidence that Syria will face this ordeal with the same determination and steadfastness it had faced the terrorist war.

He also stressed that his country is keen on boosting friendship ties with Syria, pointing out that the security and stability of Syria is essential for the security and stability of the entire Middle East.
