President Al-Assad receives a letter from Iraqi Prime Minister dealing with the Neighboring Countries Conference

President Bashar Al-Assad on Monday received a message from the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi dealing with the Iraqi Neighboring Countries Summit, scheduled to be held late this month in Baghdad, and with the importance of the Syrian-Iraqi coordination on this conference.

The message was conveyed to President Al-Assad by Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Iraq Faleh al-Fayyad during a meeting on Monday in Damascus.

 During the meeting, President Al-Assad and Al-Fayyad discussed topics listed on the agenda of the conference as well as the measures taken to enhance cooperation in all domains, particularly fighting terrorism and controlling the borders which are very important to maintain security and the movement of trade between the two countries.
