President Al-Assad receives a congratulatory cable from President of the Republic of Crimea on his victory in the presidential elections

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ President Bashar Al-Assad received on Tuesday a congratulatory cable from the president of the Russian Republic of Crimea , Sergey Aksyonov  on his victory in the presidential elections.
 
In his cable, President Aksyonov  said: ” Once again, the Syrian people pin their hopes on you to overcome the impacts of the war and achieve peace in Syria… They trust your Excellency to protect their rights and the freedom of representatives of the community.”
 
He asserted his trust in the continuity of implementing the agreement signed between his country and Syria in a successful way in the field of economy after the reelection of President Al-Assad.  
 
President Aksyonov  expressed his sincere wishes for the success of President Al-Assad in continuing to lead the Syrian people to achieve their aspirations for stability, progress and prosperity.
