President Al-Assad receives a condolences cable from the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament regarding the martyrs of the Military College

Damascus (ST): President Bashar al-Assad received a cable of condolences from the Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri, regarding the martyrs of the terrorist attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of military college officer students in Homs.

The telegram stated: “With deep feelings of sadness and sympathy, we share with you, the valiant Syrian Arab Army and the families of the martyrs who died as a result of the sinful terrorist aggression that targeted the graduation ceremony of the students of the Military College in Homs, our sincere condolences, asking the Almighty God to cover the martyrs with His mercy and to inspire you and their families with patience and solace and to grant the wounded a speedy recovery.”

President Berri added: “We seize this as an opportunity to renew our support for the Syrian leadership, army and people in their legitimate battle against terrorism in all its forms, which is consistent with the aggressive Israeli plans that target Syria and the entire nation in its unity, security and stability.”
