President al-Assad receives a cable of condolence from the Iraqi president for the martyrs of the Military Academy
President Bashar al-Assad received a cable of condolence from Iraqi President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid regarding the martyrs of the terrorist attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of military college officer students in Homs.
“We received with great regret the news of the terrorist attack that targeted the graduation ceremony of the officers of the Military College in the city of Homs and their celebrating families, leaving many innocent victims and injured.” the cable said
Rashid added: “On behalf of the Iraqi people and on our own behalf, we strongly condemn this cowardly and despicable terrorist act that is contrary to all human values and heavenly teachings.”
President Rashid also expressed his condolences and sincere sympathy to the brotherly Syrian people and the families of the victims of this sinful aggression, wishing speedy recovery to the wounded.
