Sheikh Hosameddin Farfor, who delivered the ceremony, talked about the noble meanings of Eid Al-Fitr, referring to the fact that this occasion coincides with escalation of Zionist crimes against Palestinians in the occupied Palestine.

He saluted the  Palestinian people , who are standing steadfast in confronting the Israeli occupation.

Sheikh Farfor also asserted that Syria is the cradle of civilization and its democracy stems from its land, religion and Arabism and it is not like the western democracy which is being claimed by the aggressors like the United States and its allies, who are shedding the blood of our people and stealing our wheat and wealth.

He added that Syria has overcome the crisis that it has gone through over the past years thanks to the unity of its people and leadership and the sacrifices of its army.

“You Mr. President, has taught us and humanity, by issuing the amnesty decree how morals, tolerance and forgiveness are at a time when we are most in need of compassion and the rejection of hatred, division and rivalry in our country that Allah Almighty has blessed,” Farfour said.

He concluded the ceremony by praying to Allah to protect Syria from the schemes of its enemies, restore security and safety to its territories, support its army, have mercy on its martyrs and heal its wounded, and to grant success to President al-Assad to achieve the best interests of the homeland.
