President Al-Assad meets with teachers who won first place in the scientific competition held by the Ministry of Education

President Bashar Al-Assad on Sunday met with the teachers who won first place in the scientific competition held by the Ministry of Education in the specializations of mathematics, physics, chemistry, science and informatics.

The President praised the spirit of challenge and perseverance possessed by teachers in Syria, especially the distinguished ones, stressing that they must always convey this spirit to their students in the classrooms.

This type of competition is one of the elements of continuing education for teachers because it ensures the development of capabilities and their alignment with the latest developments in education and the development of its methods, tools and contents, the President noted.

His excellency considered that participation in these competitions constitutes a vital step in the professional life of teachers, and positively affects their skills and creativity.

“As long as we celebrate the outstanding top students every year, it is nice to meet teachers who also compete with themselves and among themselves to develop their educational and intellectual skills and abilities, and this feeds and raises the level of pedagogical education in Syria” President Al-Assad said.
