President Al-Assad meets with a group of Baathist thinkers, academics and writers

The Secretary-General of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, President Bashar Al-Assad met with a group of Baathist thinkers, academics, and writers in a dialogue about the party’s role in the future of Syria at the political, national, economic, and social levels.

 The dialogue focused also on the great distinction between party ideology and party practice, on the party electoral race and the change that the Baathists need within the system of their party and on other intellectual and national topics.
