President Al-Assad made a phone call to President Putin to offer condolences over victims of Moscow terror attack
President Bashar Al-Assad, in a phone conversation with President Vladimir Putin of Russia on Saturday, offered deepest condolences on behalf of the Syrian people and his own to the Russian leadership and people over victims of the terrorist attack that targeted a mall near Moscow. President Al-Assad stressed Syria’s support for Russia in the fight against terrorism.
This is not the first time Russia is exposed to terrorism, but every time it emerges triumphant, President Al-Assad said, reiterating that “the latest terrorist attack in Moscow indicates that terrorist activities won’t stop unless terrorists are completely eliminated and that ISIS terror organization is the twin of Nazism and godfather of both is the same.”
“I know how much pain all the Russian people feel, but I am confident that Russian will overcome this ordeal, and we in Syria are looking forward to seeing you Russia victorious, because we have still been suffering from terrorism and because victory over terrorism and Nazism will compensate for the harm caused by the terrorists,” President Al-Assad added.
For his part, President Putin thanked President Al-Assad for his sincere feeling of sympathy and for Syria’s readiness to support Russia in fighting terrorism, saying” when were are together hand in hand we will achieve our goal and victory will be in our side”.
