President al-Assad issues decree No.8

DAMASCUS, (ST) – President Bashar al-Assad on Sunday issued legislative decree No.8 for the year 2014 .

The decree provides for rescheduling loans and facilitations offered to the owners of economic, tourist, industrial, services and craft activities who are late on payments to the public banks until the issuance of this decree.

President al-Assad also issued legislative decree No.9 for the year 2014 stipulating for the addition of an item to article no.5 of the legislative decree No. 41 for the year 2005 which provides for subjecting electric cars whatever the capacity of their motors is to a consumer spending fee of 30% which is the lowest fee imposed on cars.
