President Al-Assad issues 5 decrees on appointing new governors

DAMASCUS, Jul.20, (ST)- President Bashar Al-Assad issued on Wednesday five decrees No. 198, 199, 200, 201, 202 for the year 2022 on appointing new governors for the provinces of Damascus, Damascus countryside, Hama, Tartous, Quneitra, Homs, Sweida and Hasakah.

According to the decrees:

– Hama Governor Muhammad Tariq Kreishati will be transferred as and appointed as the Governor of Damascus Governorate.

– Louay Sayouh is appointed as the Governor of Hasakah Governorate.

– Tartous Governor Safwan Suleiman Abu Saada will be transferred and appointed as the Governor of the Damascus Countryside Governorate.

– Quneitra Governor Abdel Halim Khalil will be transferred as and appointed as Governor of Tartous Governorate.

– Damascus Countryside Governor Moataz Abu Al-Nasr Jamran will be transferred and appointed as the Governor of Quneitra Governorate.

– Homs Governor Bassam Mamdouh Parsik will be transferred and appointed as the Governor of Sweida Governorate.

– Sweida Governor Namir Habib Makhlouf will be transferred and appointed as the Governor of Homs Governorate.
