President Al-Assad, Iraqi PM discuss in a phone call bilateral relations, Arab and international issues
Damascus, (ST) – President Bashar Al-Assad and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudan, during a phone conversation on Wednesday, discussed bilateral relations and a number of Arab and international issues.
The phone call dealt with joint files, including enhancing border security and efforts exerted to consolidate it, and cooperation in combating terrorism to serve the interests of the two countries and the peoples of the entire region.
The two sides discussed means of enhancing cooperation between the two countries in all fields, especially economic ones, in a way that benefits the peoples of the two brotherly countries.
The conversation dealt with the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, and unifying efforts to stop the crimes of the Israeli entity.
