President al-Assad holds a session of talks with the Iranian president prior to his departure from Damascus

Damascus (ST): President Bashar al-Assad held talks with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi prior to his departure from Damascus at the end of his visit to Syria at the head of a high ministerial delegation.

In their discussions, the two presidents stressed the activation of all understandings and proposals that were discussed during the visit and putting them into practice to serve the relationship between the two countries and peoples, and the continuation of coordination and consultation in various fields.

The two presidents reviewed the economic steps that will be worked on during the next stage in the field of power and energy stations, tourism and joint investment projects, and accelerating the bilateral procedures required to establish a joint bank with the aim of facilitating trade exchange.
