President Al-Assad, his Algerian counterpart discuss the positive developments in inter-Arab relations

During a phone conversation on Monday, President Bashar Al-Assad and Algerian president Abdelmadjid Tebboune, discussed the positive developments at the level of inter -Arab relations and means of consolidating them bilaterally and collectively.

The two presidents appreciated highly the developments on Arab arena and their expected reflection on reactivating cooperation among the Arab countries to serve the common interests of these countries and their peoples.

In this regad, President al-Assad noted Algeria’s Arab role in achieving Arab reunification.

The two presidents also discussed effective coordination and high-level cooperation between Syria and Algeria. 

President al-Assad pointed to Algeria’s firm stances on supporting the Syrian people during the years of the terrorist war based on the principles and the historical relations that unite the two brotherly countries and peoples.
