President Al-Assad: fight against terrorism starts with exerting pressure on the countries which support and finance it

 DAMASCUS, (ST)_ H.E. President Bashar Al-Assad reiterated that the fight against terrorism starts with exerting pressure on the countries which support and finance terrorist organizations and claim at the same time to be now fighting terrorism.

Receiving the Iraqi National Security Advisor and envoy of the Iraqi Premier, Falih Al-Fayadh, H.E. President Al-Assad voiced relief over the standing ccoperations with Iraqi leaderships in encountering the terrorist organizations, which resulted in positive outcomes for both countries and the region.

Mr. Al-Fayadh briefed H.E. President Al-Assad on the latest developments in Iraq and the efforts exerted by the government and people of Iraq to encounter terrorists.

Assertion was laid on the importance of the bolstering of coordination and cooperation between Syria and Iraq as to fight terrorism threatening both countries, the region as well as the entire globe.
