President Al-Assad expressed, in a phone call to Iranian President-designate, Syria’s complete solidarity with Iran under all circumstances
President Bashar Al-Assad made a phone call with Iranian President-designate Muhammad Mokhber, in which he renewed his heartfelt condolences to the leadership and people of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the death of President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and their companions, stressing Syria’s firm approach to the relationship with Iran.
During the call, President Al-Assad expressed Syria’s complete solidarity with Iran under all circumstances, and his confidence in the ability of the Iranian state and people to overcome this painful incident.
For his part, the Iranian President-designate stressed the depth of the strategic relations between the two friendly countries, and the continuation of consultation and coordination between them at all levels.
