President Al-Assad exchanges congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha with the Iraqi President and the King of Bahrain
Damascus (ST) – President Bashar al-Assad and the Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid exchanged congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha in a telephone call.
President Al-Assad and President Rashid stressed the strengthening of bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
President Al-Assad also exchanged congratulations on Eid Al-Adha with His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, during a phone call between them.
President al-Assad and the King of Bahrain stressed the brotherly relations that unite the two countries.

President al-Assad also received a number of congratulatory cables on the occasion of Eid al-Adha from kings and heads of Arab and Islamic countries, in which they wished his sovereignty good health and success, and the Syrian people more stability and prosperity.
The President received cables from the Sultan of the Sultanate of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq, the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of Algeria, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Abdullah II, the President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, and the President of the Sovereignty Council.
