President al-Assad directs to increase the value of the May 6 annual cash gift to the families of the martyrs, the wounded, and the missing

Within the framework of the continuous support and care that President Bashar al-Assad gives to the families of the martyrs, the wounded, and the missing, His Excellency directed that the value of the annual cash gift (the May 6 gift) distributed to the families of the martyrs, the wounded, and the missing be increased by six times .

The Ministry of Defense explained in a post on its Facebook page that the value of the “May 6 gift” has become as follows:

– Families of martyrs, missing persons, and those injured with total disability: three hundred thousand SYP .

-Partial disability injuries of 40 to 79 percent: two hundred thousand SYP .

The Ministry indicated that the cash gift will be disbursed through current accounts or the Syrian Postal Corporation.
