President Al-Assad designates Mohammad Ghazi Al-Jalali to form a new government

DAMASCUS, SEP.14, (ST)-Today, President Bahsar Al-Assad issued decree that designates Dr. Mohammad Ghazi al-Jalali to form the new government in Syria.

Dr. Al-Jalali was born in Damascus in 1969.

He previously worked as the Minister of Communications and Technology from August 2014 until July 2016.

Assistant Minister of Communications and Technology from May 2008 until August 2014.

He has been an associate professor and president of the Syrian Private University (SPU) since September 2023.

He chairs  the Board of Trustees of Arab Quality Makers since April 2019.

Dr. Al-Jalali holds a PhD in Engineering Economics from Ain Shams University in Cairo in 2000, a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo in 1997, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Civil Engineering from Damascus University in 1994, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Damascus University in 1992.
