President Al-Assad congratulates Oman’s Sultan on National Day

DAMASCUS, Nov 18, (ST)-President Bashar Al-Assad sent on Thursday a congratulatory cable to the Sultan of Oman Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Saed on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the National Day of Oman. 
 
The president said in the cable: “ I offer heartfelt congratulations to you and to the people of Oman on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the national day of Oman, wishing you success in your efforts to achieve progress in your country.” 
 
He asserted that the bilateral relations between Syria and Oman have been distinguished, expressing satisfaction over the continuous development of these relations in all fields with the aim of cementing brotherly relations between the  Syrian and Omani peoples.
 
The president wished the Sultan and the people of Oman good health and prosperity.
