President Bashar Al-Assad and First Lady Asma Al-Assad arrive at Beijing airport and meet the Syrian community

President Bashar Al -Assad and the First Lady Asma al -Assad arrived at Beijing Airport today. 

In the capital, Beijing, President Bashar Al -Assad and the First Lady Asma Al -Assad met with a number of members of the Syrian community residing in China

The meeting was an occasion to talk about the country and the role of the community towards it in the next stage, the relationship with China and how the Syrians contribute to strengthening this relationship . 

President Bashar Al-Assad described the Syrian communities as the human, social and intellectual bridge between Syria and the rest of the world

President Bashar Al-Assad stressed the importance of the Syrian communities’ role in building the relations that bring Syria together with those countries. 

President Bashar Al-Assad and the First Lady in their dialogue with members of the community spoke about the great transformation that China has witnessed during the recent decades, starting from values and originality and the striking identity of its roots in history, based on permanent science and work

President Bashar Al-Assad and Mrs. Asmaa Al -Assad listened to new ideas, proposals and opinions on Syrian -Chinese cooperation in the scientific, research, medical and technological fields, from members of the community who came from all walks of life and from different Chinese cities, including university professors, researchers, doctors, teachers, journalists, and businessmen, all of whom have achieved successes and always look forward to serving their homeland, Syria. 

Tomorrow President Bashar Al-Assad will meet Chinese Prime Minister Lee Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Council of Chinese People’s Representatives Zhao Lee Ji.
