President Al-Assad and Iranian President exchange congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha
On July 10th, President Bashar Al-Assad and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi exchanged congratulations on the blessed Eid al-Adha.
During a telephone conversation, the two presidents expressed their wishes for continued prosperity for the Syrian-Iranian relations, and for the peoples of the two countries to achieve prosperity and progress.
President Bashar Al-Assad asked the Iranian President to convey his sincere congratulations to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Sayyid Ali Khamenei.
The two presidents discussed bilateral cooperation and prospects for its development and expansion to include new areas that contribute to achieving the interests of the two countries and their peoples, in addition to following up on the implementation of the agreements signed between the two sides.
They also discussed topics of common interest, the situation in the region, and developments on the regional and international arenas.
