President Ahmed Al-Sharaa, in a speech on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr at the People’s Palace

President Al-Sharaa said in a speech on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr “Syria is writing a new page in history, and we have a long and challenging road ahead. We possess all the foundations for rebuilding at every level, and what is required of us is to work and not to be divided.”

He added “We must prove to the world that we are one people. Followers of the previous regime tried to burn the country, but they failed.”
President Al-Sharaa pointed out “We rejected quota-based appointments in the government and did not yield to any form of political division. We must find common ground, as no step will satisfy everyone.”
President Al-Sharaa said ” We announced the Syrian government two days ago, avoiding quota-based appointments and opting for participation instead. A great deal of effort was put into selecting these ministers, who are highly experienced and competent, with a strong commitment to building this country. Our goal is change and improvement.”
