Palestinian Presidency: Settlers’ attacks on occupied Al-Quds and the genocidal war on Gaza push the region towards a total conflagration

Presidential spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh today warned that the Israeli colonists’ attacks in Al Quds and the ongoing genocidal war on Gaza would push the region towards a total conflagration.

Abu Rudeineh stated that the so- called “Flag March” organized by thousands of supremacist Jewish colonists in the occupied city of Al Quds along with the ongoing genocidal war on Gaza and incessant attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank would not change the reality of the city of Al Quds as the eternal capital of the State of Palestine.

He stressed that they constitute not only a violation of all international laws that consider East Al Quds an integral part of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, but also a blatant provocation to Arab, Islamic and Christian sentiments.

He pointed out that the ongoing Israeli attempts to falsify the history of Al Quds and alter its Palestinian-Arab character are futile attempts aimed at impose the policy of fait accompli on the city, promising that all such attempts were doomed to fail.

He called on the US administration, which supports and protects Israel, to intervene immediately to halt the genocidal war on Gaza and the ongoing attacks in the West Bank and Al Quds, and held it responsible for their continuation as a result of its carte blanche support to the Israeli occupation.
