Preparations underway for taking part in Asia Cup finals

DAMASCUS,(ST)-The Olympic soccer team are currently holding an indoor training camp in Damascus.

The training sessions are part of the team’s preparation for taking part in the U22 Asia Cup finals due to be staged in Oman in January 2014.

Before leaving for Oman, the Olympic team played three friendlies against local clubs.

They beat Shurta 1-0,crush Muhafaza, newly promoted to first division,3-0 before losing to Jaish 1-2.
