Preparations for holding the 2nd Syrian- Omani Businessmen Forum discussed

The Syrian Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Dr. Idris Mayya discussed with Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the cooperation relations in the economic field between the two brotherly countries and the ongoing preparations for holding the Second Syrian-Omani Businessmen Forum.

During the meeting, the importance of the good preparation for this forum and the effective role which the commerce and industry chambers in the two countries can play in this regard were emphasized.

The two sides pointed out that forum will reflect positively on economic cooperation and trade exchange between Syria and Oman.

It is worth noting that the activities of the last Syrian-Omani Businessmen Forum, which was held in July 2023, took place in the presence of the Ministers of Economy of the two countries and with the participation of more than 60 businessmen from Syria and more than 100 Omani investors, in order to explore the available opportunities and prospects for economic cooperation between the two countries.
