Premier urges Chambers of Tourism to activate domestic tourism

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Prime Minister Eng. Hussien Arnous affirmed on Sunday that the government will go ahead with supporting the tourism sector to overcome the damage caused by the terror war being waged on the country.
 
His remarks were made during his  meeting with the Federation of the Syrian Chambers of Tourism in Damascus.
 
The premier talked about the importance of partnership between the Federation of the Syrian Chambers of Tourism and the Ministry of Tourism to draw up plans to develop tourism and to attract investment projects  as well as to enhance communication with expatriates and owners of suspended tourist projects.
 
He in addition called for presenting initiatives to activate domestic  tourism to acquaint the people of ancient sites in Syria.
