Premier inaugurates “Douma Emergency Hospital”
DAMASCUS COUNTRYSIDE, Jun.20, (ST)- Prime Minister Hussein Arnous inaugurated on Monday the “Douma Emergency Hospital” in Damascus countryside, in cooperation with the civil society, at a cost of 2.2 billion Syrian Pound.
The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the hospital includes an emergency department equipped with an ambulance, 2 operating rooms, 2 accommodation rooms for patients with a capacity of 6 beds, an intensive care room, a dialysis department, and an obstetrics department.
The hospital offers the services of Laboratory analysis and X-rays.
On the 26th of May, 2021, Presidential Candidate Bashar Al-Assad and his wife Mr. Asma Al-Assad casted their vote in the electoral center in the municipality of Douma in Damascus Countryside.
In 2018, life has started to gradually return to the city of Douma after the elemination of terrorist groups and the exit of Jaish al-Islam terrorists to Jarablos.
