Premier holds talks with Iranian business delegation

DAMASCUS, (ST)_Prime Minister Eng. Hussien Arnous held on Sunday talks with the Chairman of the Iranian side in the Syrian-Iranian joint Chamber of Commerce Kiwan Kashfi and the accompanying delegation.
 
The talks between the two sides dealt with the role of the private sector and ways of developing economic cooperation and increasing commercial exchange between Damascus and Tehran.
 
The two sides underscored the need to open new horizons for cooperation with the aim of confronting the illegitimate economic siege being imposed on both Syria and Iran.
 
For their part, the Iranian delegation asserted that a lot of Iranian companies are interested in doing business in the Syrian market and upgrading the level of economic and commercial relations.
