Possibility of including Russia on the US list of countries (supporting terrorism) is a propaganda step, says Zakharova
Moscow, (ST) – Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stressed that Russia considers Washington’s statement that it might be described as a “state sponsor of terrorism” as just a propaganda move.
RT website quoted Zakharova as saying in a statement on Tuesday that, “this is something that needs legal support or some facts, and today no one talks about facts at all, but the goal of the matter is to show the world that the US is capable of flexing it’s muscles.”
US State Department spokesman Ned Price had said earlier that the United States was studying the possibility of including the Russian Federation on the list of “accomplices of terrorists” which White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki refused to comment on.
