Popular Front for Unity: Washington and Ankara support terrorism in Syria

Cairo (ST): The Arab Popular Front for Unity affirmed in Egypt today that the illegal American and Turkish presence on Syrian territory violates international conventions and contravenes the rules of international law.

 

The Secretary-General of the Front, Ala’a Abu Zeid, said in a statement to news reporter in Cairo: “Washington and Ankara provided all facilities and support to mercenaries and terrorist groups in Syria to serve their agendas.”

Abu Zeid added that Washington imposed unilateral coercive measures on Syria in an attempt to force it to succumb to American-Zionist dictates, but Syria’s steadfastness and victory over terrorism thwarted the sinister plans.
