Popular demonstrations in Tal Hamis in Qamishli, protesting repressive practices of SDF militia

The town of Tal Hamis in the countryside of Qamishli witnessed a popular protest against the practices of the US-backed “SDF militia,” which rules over the livelihood of civilians and kidnaps its inhabitants .

Civil sources reported to SANA correspondent that the people of the town of Tal Hamis in Qamishli in the eastern countryside of Hasakah, today demonstrated in protest against the repressive practices of the “SDF militia” and against their  prevention of the locals from getting bread.

The sources indicated that the demonstrators blocked main roads with tires and stones and chanted slogans demanding the expulsion of the militia and its gunmen and the closure of their headquarters in the town.

The town of Tal Hamis has witnessed repeated demonstrations against the repressive practices of the “SDF” militia, its control of the daily life needs, and the  kidnapping of many young men to forcibly fight them in its ranks.
