HAMA, (ST)- Popular defense groups found more than 2500 tonnes of stolen wheat in one of ISIS terrorist organization’s hideouts in eastern Eqerbat town in Hama countryside.
Mohammad al-Hazouri, Hama Governor, who was supervising the process of moving the wheat out of the hideout, said that during a search operation in one of ISIS positions in eastern Eqerbat town, a huge quantity of wheat, weighing about 2500 tonnes was discovered.
Concerned parties in Hama province ensured the vehicles and cars necessary to move the wheat to the silos and stores of the Establishment for Cereal Trade and Manufacturing in order to be kept within suitable health conditions, the governor told SANA.
He added that the incident provides a further evidence about ISIS crimes against the Syrians and about its attempts to steal the Syrian people’s resources in cooperation with anti-Syria forces and regimes.
Over the past years, ISIS terror groups attacked oil and gas wells in Syria, stole the oil production and conveyed it abroad, particularly to the Turkish territories in coordination with Erdogan regime.
