Popular and official celebration in the town of Ain al-Fijeh, marking the return of its residents after their displacement due to terrorism

The town of Ain al-Fijah, in the countryside of Damascus today witnessed a popular and official celebration in the town square marking the return of the people of this area to their homes and lands after they had been displaced from it for years due to terrorism.
Governor of Damascus Countryside Safwan Abu Sa’da affirmed that the return of the displaced people to their homes was achieved thanks to the sacrifices of the martyrs, hailing the coordination between all concerned parties to facilitate this return.
A number of returnees told a SANA reporter that their return to their towns and houses was similar to  the return of the soul to the body after the suffering they experienced during their displacement period.
They affirmed that the return is a very important and long-awaited step that help the locals start rebuilding their houses and establishing new works.

 

Many of the returnees expressed their happiness, stressing determination to start building Ain Al-Fijah and planting their lands.
