Politicized accusations to conceal shameful involvement in supporting terrorism

The Lebanese capital has been hit by several terrorist explosions over the past few months including targeting the Iranian Embassy in Beirut, which left dozens of dead and wounded as well as two terrorist bombings in southern suburb of Beirut. Two weeks ago, two army checkpoints in the city of Sidon were attacked. Since the beginning of this series of explosions and political assassinations in Lebanon, some Lebanese politicians rush to direct accusations against Syria and Hezbollah motivated by hatred and political interests that serve the Saudi Israeli project in the region.  Former Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad al-Sanyoura and his ilk have always been in a hurry to accuse Syria and Hezbollah after every explosion or assassination in Lebanon with the aim of escalating the ferocity of the global war being launched against Syria and the Lebanese National resistance that aim, among other things, to undermine Syria’s resistant role and end resistance to Israel.

Such groundless hurried allegations prove that al-Sanyoura and his party are part of the conspiracy against Syria, the Lebanese resistance and the Arab nation. In fact, these claims are desperate attempts to conceal their role in training, funding and exporting terrorists to Syria to kill Syrians and destroy their public and private properties. These baseless accusations disclose the notorious role played by the so-called Future Current headed by Sa’ed al-Hariri and their disgraceful involvement in giving safe refuge for al-Qa’eda terrorists and other takfiri groups that are committing sabotage acts and atrocious massacres in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and other countries in the region.

This bombing is one of a series of crimes and blasts aimed at devastating Lebanon and inciting a new sectarian war in the country. It is a despicable crime and a flagrant attempt to target the national stability and unity in Lebanon through directing false accusations. The bombing aims at destabilizing the country and inciting sedition among its people by exploiting the fragile security situation and the political paralysis in the country. It was an attempt to keep Lebanon tense and incite sedition among the country’s sects at a time strenuous efforts are being exerted to form a cabinet and end the political stalemate in the country.

This cowardly crime should make the Lebanese more determined to preserve their country and confront the party which is being used as a tool to implement the American Zionist project in the region. The bombing is a scheme to inflict further chaos and damage on the country and direct accusations against the resistance axis in the region.

Terrorism is the enemy of Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and all world’s peoples. Terrorism must be faced seriously away from the absurd use of politicized and futile indictment.

All the Lebanese should be united to face terrorism which targets Lebanon and Lebanese people as a whole. They should be rational and wise in order to face the dangers which are threatening their country and the region as a whole.
