Plot Against Syria Reached Impasse- Iranian Official

TEHRAN,(ST)_ Iran’s Vice President Saeed Lou said that after more than two years of their flagrant war, enemies of Syria admitted that their plot reached an impasse, thanks to the will of the Syrian people and the determination of their leadership, which defends national principles , and Syria unity and pivotal role in the region ‘s resistance front.

Lou noted during a meeting with Dr. Adnan Mahmoud, Syria’s Ambassador in Tehran yesterday the top priority given to withstand blatant economic war aimed at the Syrian people living and economic conditions and the infrastructure.

He explained that the bet of the West , the US and their agents in the region to tighten economic blockade on Syria will not achieve its objectives, stressing efforts to strengthen Syrian people steadfastness and ensure their oil, food, medical needs electrical needs .

For his part, Ambassador Mahmoud said that the escalation of the economic war on Syria coincides with the quality achievement of the Syrian Arab Army , expressing confidence to overcome the unjust economic blockade through the implementation of economic and trade agreements signed between Syria and Iran, according to schedules set out to support the steadfastness of the Syrian people .

He explained that the main objective of the war against Syria is to destroy its components as a baseline in the Resistance Front , and appreciated Iran ‘s stances in supporting Syria ‘s efforts to restore security and stability.
