Planting 40 thousand hectares of wheat crop in Al-Ghab region

The Director of Plant Resources  at the General Authority for the Management and Development of Al-Ghab, Engineer Wafiq Zarrouf, said  that the areas planted  with wheat crops in the lands under the supervision of the authority in Hama countryside have reached  40 thousand hectares of the total plan planned for the current season of 62,819 hectares.

Zarrouf said that the field committees continue to count the areas planted with wheat in the various departments of the authority.

 

Zarrouf said that the cultivation operations are continuing, especially in irrigated lands, which are expected to continue until the middle of this month.

It is noteworthy that last season, 41,439 hectares of wheat were cultivated in Al-Ghab lands.
