Planning and International Cooperation Commission and the Syrian Development Organization sign MoU

Musab Badawi, Chairman of the Planning and International Cooperation Commission, signed today a Memorandum of Understanding with Farouk Batheish, Director of the Syrian Development Organization.

The Memorandum aims to enhance cooperation in developmental and humanitarian fields, capacity building, and joint coordination to establish a methodology for community development across all Syrian territories.

In a statement to SANA, Badawi said that the memorandum aims to coordinate development and humanitarian projects in line with national, economic, social, and environmental development goals, with a focus on the national vision for all sectors, especially the community sector.

For his part, Batheish pointed out that the memorandum focuses on cooperation and planning to build a developmental needs bank based on advanced community development methodologies, in collaboration with development experts and joint committees to be activated by both the Commission and the Organization.
The committees will coordinate with local authorities to translate community needs into executable plans, ensuring equity and comprehensive development throughout Syria.
