DAMASCUS- The Cabinet held a weekly session on Tuesday, chaired by Prime Minister Imad Khamis, during which it considered that the great victory achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in breaking the siege imposed by ISIS terrorists on Deir Ezzor city will increase determinations to defeat the terrorists until security and stability are restored to the entirety of Syria.
According to SANA, the Cabinet also observed a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs’ souls, and put a plan for transporting all the injured people in Deir Ezzor city to Damascus to provide them with free treatment.
The plan also includes an open air bridge between the cities of Damascus and Deir Ezzor to secure the return of the locals to their houses.
The Cabinet charged the Ministries of Interior Trade and Consumer Protection, Local Administration and Environment, Electricity, Water Resources, Communications and Technology, Health, Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Education to organize convoys of food, medical items, petroleum products, and school supplies to Deir Ezzor, as well as rehabilitating the infrastructure to prepare for restoring all services including water, electricity, and communications to the city and secure the return of displaced people to their houses.
