Plain and Chocolate Custard

INGREDIENTS

20 round plain biscuits

For the plain custard:

8  tablespoons custard powder, dissolved in 2 cups warm milk

6  cups milk

1  cup sugar

For the chocolate custard:

8  tablespoons custard powder, dissolved in 2 cups warm milk

6  cups milk

1  cup sugar

4  tablespoons cocoa powder

1- To prepare the plain custard, pour in a pan 6 cups of milk with 1 cup of sugar. Stir and bring to boil on medium heat.

2- Add in the custard powder dissolved in 2 cups warm milk while constantly stirring. Keep stirring until mixture boils and thickens. Remove pan from heat.

3- To prepare the chocolate custard, follow the same steps as for the plain custard and add the cocoa powder.

4- Prepare 10 glass bowls and place 1 biscuit at the bottom of each bowl. Pour over the biscuit a layer of plain custard followed by a layer of chocolate custard and top with another biscuit.

5- Refrigerate for a couple of hours and serve cold.
