(Photograph) is One of five Syrian films in the Alexandria Film Festival

The Syrian Narrative Film (Photograph) will   participate in the official short films competition of the Alexandria Film Festival for Mediterranean Countries in its 37th session from September 25 till October 1stin Alexandria, Egypt.

The Syrian Film (Photograph) was directed by the Syrian filmmaker Al-Muhannad Kalthoum and produced by the General Film Organization.

The festival’s director, Al-Amir Abaza, said that the current session celebrates Syrian cinema, where 5 Syrian films will participate in its various competitions with their world premiere.

 

Photographic events revolve around the effects of the war on Syria on the Syrian child as a result of the phenomenon of child labor that forces them to leave their studies and work to support their families.

In addition, the film presents the repercussions of the war and the human struggle for survival.

The Syrian filmmaker Al-Muhannad Kalthoumexpressed his happiness with the participation of his film in many Arab and local festivals, as it talks about children and what they have been exposed to during the years of war.

He said that Syrian cinema is still winning awards, overcoming all the difficulties and siege it has been subjected to, wishing it progress and prosperity in all fields.

It is noteworthy that the film was written by Buthaina Naissa, starring Suleiman Al-Ahmad, Ghaleb Shandoba, Jamal Al-Ali, Sufouh Mimas, and Etab Abu Saada.
