Peskov: Russia fulfills all its obligations to Europe in the field of energy

Moscow (ST): Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced that his country is capable of ensuring energy security in Europe.

Peskov was quoted as telling reporters today “We absolutely reject any hints or direct statements that the Russian side is using gas or oil as a weapon of political pressure, stressing that “Russia fulfills all its obligations and is still able to ensure full energy security in Europe.”

Peskov indicated that the return of (Siemens) turbines from Canada will allow increasing the supply of natural gas from Russia to Germany through the (North Stream), which is a gas pipeline from Russia to Germany through the bottom of the Baltic.
