Moscow, (ST) – Russia’s Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the Kremlin’s position is “negative” towards the false information that was published about Syria and other issues after the Russian Federal News Agency site was subjected to an electronic hacking attack from extremists of the Turkish regime.
In response to a question about the Kremlin’s stance towards publishing false allegations about the situation in Syria on the pages of the newspaper (Novaya Gazeta), Peskov said to the reporters in Moscow that “in general, we consider this, especially in these times as a negative practice, and of course when it comes to spreading false news that does not in any way help to upgrade the newspaper’s reputation but on the contrary exactly.
The site of the Russian Federal News Agency announced that it was again subjected to an electronic hacking attack by “criminals” of the Turkish regime who tried again to publish articles that contradict the agency’s editorial policy on issues related to Syria. The terrorists of the Turkish regime were able to penetrate the site on the 13th of this month, and they published information and articles against the Syrian government aimed at discrediting Russian-Syrian relations before the articles were deleted by the information technology department of the editorial office.
