People’s Assembly: The heroism of the people in Golan will remain the beacon for struggle against the occupation

Damascus (ST) – People’s Assembly indicated that the heroism of the people in the occupied Syrian Arab Golan will remain the beacon for the struggle of freedom fighters against the occupation.

On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the ill-fated decision of the Israeli occupation entity to annex the occupied Syrian Arab Golan, on the 14th of December 1981, the Assembly stated that the annexation decision is a desperate attempt by the occupation to impose its authority on the residents of the occupied Syrian Golan and eliminate their identity.

The Assembly stressed that the malicious conspiracy that has been hatched against Syria over the past 12 years and mobilizing the forces of evil, mercenaries and terrorists from all over the world against the country and the imposition of unjust and unilateral measures with the support of the US and its allies from Western countries and the Zionist entity, are part of the war on Syria’s existence and the essence of the conflict with the Zionist enemy.

The Assembly saluted the steadfast people of Golan and Palestine as well as the Palestinian captives at the occupation detention centers.
