People of Safia village in Qamishli organize a protest stand against Turkish occupation

Al-Qamishli, (ST) – The people of Safia village in the countryside of Qamishli organized a national protest stand in rejection of the American and Turkish occupations. They denounced, during this stand, the illegal presence of their forces that destabilize the security of the region and plunder its resources.

 During the stand,, the people raised the national flags and banners denouncing the illegal presence of the American and Turkish occupation forces on the Syrian territories. They chanted slogans against these forces and their mercenaries.

In a statement to SANA, Sheikh Hussein Al-Hasso of “Al-Rashed” clan affirmed that the people of the Syrian Al-Jazeera “stand against the illegal foreign interference in Syria.”  He pointed out that “the Syrian people, in all their sects, reject the American and Turkish presence and denounce the brutal practices against our people in Tel Tamer and Ras al-Ain.”

In turn, Hassan Salloumi, from Al-Ghanama clan of the Tay Arab tribe, said that, the people of the region trust the Syrian Arab Army. They consider this army the only national institution capable of restoring security and safety and establishing stability in the region”.
