People of al-Khafsa Town Celebrate Army’s Victories in Aleppo Eastern Countryside

ALEPPO COUNTRYSIDE, (ST)- The locals of al-Khafsa town in Aleppo countryside on Saturday celebrated the restoration of security and stability to tens of towns and villages in the eastern countryside of Aleppo after the Syrian Arab army cleared these areas from terrorism. Popular and party figure took part in the celebration.

 The participants, who carried the Syrian flags, expressed their happiness over the defeat of terrorism in their town that enabled them to return to their houses.

Member of the People’s Assembly Ali al-Zeidan said that he came to al-Khafsa to join the locals their happiness over the restoration of the town after the army expelled the terrorists.

Abdullah al-Wardi, another People’s Assembly Member, affirmed the local’s adherence to their homeland and identity and congratulated them on returning to their houses.

 One of the participants said “we returned to our houses after the Syrian Arab army liberated us from terrorism and rid us of the terrorists’ crimes.”

An elderly woman also expressed her happiness over the victories achieved by the Syrian army, noting that everything has been ensured by the army to guarantee our safety and meet our needs.

The Syrian Arab army restored security and stability to al-Khafsa town as well as to several other neighboring towns and villages last March. The army forces continued to make advances in Aleppo countryside and they managed to re-pump water to the city of Aleppo from al-Kkafsa town, the main source pumping water to the city.
