The people in the occupied Syrian Golan reaffirmed their adherence to their land and their rejection of the Israeli wind turbine project and all other Israeli Judaizing schemes. They also stressed that they will not give up their land and rights.
After a meeting they held on March 1st at the shrine of Abi Dhar Al-Ghafari in Al-Marj area between the occupied villages of Masada and Majdal Shams, the people in Golan issued a statement in which they affirmed their categorical rejection of the new proposals of the occupation through which it is trying to pass its colonialist plan.
“The Golan is Syrian Arab land, and we will not cede an inch of it. The Israeli proposals are nothing but an attempt to perpetuate the occupation, which will be doomed to end.”
The statement called for a protest stand next Saturday at the shrine of Abu Dhar al-Ghafari in defense of the land, and in rejection of the Judaization colonialist turbine scheme.
Since 2019, the people in the occupied Syrian Golan have been carrying out general and comprehensive strikes to confront the expansionist plan of the turbines, which threatens to seize more than six thousand dunums of their agricultural lands.
Syria constantly affirms that the occupied Golan is an integral part of its territories and works to return every inch of its soil by all available means as it is an eternal right that does not expire by statute of limitations.
The United Nations constantly affirms the need for Israel to withdraw from the occupied Syrian Golan to the line of June 4, 1967, and to stop all settlement operations in it.
The United Nations stressed that all measures taken or will be taken by the Israeli occupation with the aim of changing the character of the Syrian Golan and its legal status are null and constitute a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
