People in occupied Syrian Golan express solidarity with their fellow citizens in the areas affected by the earthquake

People in the occupied Syrian Golan expressed their condolences to and sympathy with the people of the homeland, Syria, over the disaster caused by the destructive earthquake that resulted in hundreds of casualties.

The people of Golan said in a statement on Monday addressing the Syrian people throughout the country: “With hearts that believe in God’s will and destiny, we share  with our dear homeland, Syria, its painful affliction resulted from the earthquake that hit the country’s governorates, and whose consequences have been disastrous at the humanitarian and economic levels, asking God to have mercy on the victims and to heal the injured.”

They affirmed their confidence that Syria will heal its wounds and get better soon.

It is to be noted that religious and civil society figures in the occupied Syrian Golan launched a campaign to collect aid for the governorates affected by the earthquake.
