People in occupied Golan commemorate Martyrs’ Day

People in the occupied Syrian Golan have stressed that the blood of the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army has led to Syria’s victory and drawn up a new map for the region through the army’s confrontation of the terrorist war and the conspiracy hatched against Syria.

Hundreds of people from the occupied Golan gathered in the squares of the occupied towns of Beqatha and Majdal Shams. They laid wreaths on the martyr’s memorial, recited verses from the holy Quran and carried the national flag as well as placards glorifying the martyrs. They affirmed their loyalty to the martyrs’ path of resisting and confronting the occupation.

Sidqi Al-Maqt, Dean of the Syrian detainees liberated from the Israeli occupation jails said in his speech during the rally held at Sultan Pasha Al-Atrash Square in Majdal Shams town that the martyrs’ sacrifices are very important as they have made Syira’s history, pointing out that the convoys of martyrs haven’t stopped since the beggining of occupation, and the people in Golan were the first to sacrifice to defend Syria’s soil.

The heroic deeds and sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army have been the compass for victory and for confronting the conspiracy and global war that targeted Syria, Al-Maqt added.
